Oetker Collection’s First U.S. Hotel Opening Set for Q1 2025

In Q1 2025, the Oetker Collection will unveil its first property in the United States, The Vineta Hotel,  in Palm Beach, Florida.

Following the recent openings of The Woodward Geneva in 2021 and of Hotel La Palma in Capri in 2023, The Vineta Hotel will mark the luxury hospitality brand’s 12^th Masterpiece Hotel.

Situated in the heart of Palm Beach, the hotel is located just two blocks off Worth Avenue, a retail stretch renowned for its designer boutiques, art galleries and coveted restaurants, and mere minutes from the beach.

Paying homage to the hotel’s legacy, Oetker Collection brings back the Vineta name, heralding a bold new chapter in the property’s nearly 100-year history. Originally opened as the Lido-Venice during the real estate boom in 1926, it was shortly thereafter renamed The Vineta and remained so for the next fifty years. A brief period as a condo in the 1980s followed before the property reemerged as The Chesterfield in 1989.

With its distinct pale-pink façade, the building is a quintessential example of the Mediterranean Revival architecture for which Palm Beach is renowned.

The landmark property will be reborn as The Vineta Hotel with a top-to-bottom renovation led by Paris-based interior designer Tino Zervudachi, including reducing the room count from 53 to 41 to allow for more generous spaces that will be refreshed with bright interiors.

“The concept behind the interior design for The Vineta Hotel is to infuse it with a fresh Palm Beach feel by bringing in clean lines, a relaxed ambiance, and a stylish and younger feeling palette of colours”,  said Zervudachi. “It’s my aim to create a real new venue for visitors and residents alike – taking extra care to enhance the exterior dining spaces both at the pool and the courtyard – by establishing a cosmopolitan look that blends European design cues with the destination’s unmistakable aesthetic”.

In addition to a new lounge, outdoor courtyard, and statement bar, guests can experience new dining concepts at the property’s signature restaurant, Coco’s.

Executive Chef Sébastian Broda and Pastry Chef Tarek of Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, sister hotel to The Vineta, have signed off on the menu, which will feature newly created dishes inspired by the destination alongside guest favorites from the legendary South of France hotel’s restaurant – Eden Roc Grill, Louroc, Giovanni’s, and Les Cabanes.
